In his retirement he decided to train as a silversmith at the Sir John Cass School of Art in Whitechapel. These were the results and will always remind me of him. John. He is the greatest memory here, and my mother-in-law’s trinkets bought on action. Eivind. Oslo, Norway View fullsize The floor tiles, the faience and parquet remind me of my husband. Even if he was a mathematician, he made all the works in the house. He painted everything. Everything reminds me of him. I have lost him four years ago. Doina. It’s mounted to look as though it’s underwater near the bed of the lake. Jane. London, UK View fullsize The view from my bedroom reminds me of the first person I had sex with in this flat. I had just moved in and was hooked on a dark-haired guy who had been shifting between flirting and ignoring me for six months. I thought about him constantly when I oiled the floors and packed out my boxes. I moved in Friday and he came visiting Sunday. It was a disappointment, but we did enjoy that view together. Frøya.
